A COZY CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR

Good morning friends! I am so excited and so honored to be apart of a wonderful home tour blog hop! Get a hot coffee or hot cup of tea ready because things are about to get extra cozy over here! Welcome to my cozy Christmas home tour! The first room I’m sharing with you is our living room! In this room we do most of our family gatherings and hanging out! Lots of cuddles and laughter goes in this room!

I kept things very simple in here and since we don’t have our tree yet I have used some pretty green wreaths and pops of navy blue and reds.

I would say my style for Christmas is cozy traditional. I love my farmhouse things but I think I love traditional things too. Anything that says cozy is right up my ally! With two small kids I have to keep things super fun for Christmas time too!

My fireplace is one of my favorite things about this room and is pretty much the focal point! I used an oversized green garland from Homegoods on top of my mantle and just keep everything else simple! There’s some birch wood on both sides for balance but not much else is going on! The next thing I love is my pine cone center piece on my coffee table!

I love the texture of the pine cones and their simplicity. I have 4 large ones surrounding a birch wood vase filled with some smaller cinnamon scented pinecones! Super easy and simple to recreate!

My pillows are very neutral and but also kind of eclectic. I have some reds and some flannels but nothing too crazy! Again I think the mix of all of it is eclectic and traditional!

I shared a sneak peak of this sled I found from Home Goods on my IG story and I love it as a little table for my lamp! Since my actual side table isn’t very tall it gave it the perfect height I was looking for! Lots of you ask me where I found the sled and the answer is Home Goods!!! So cute and adorable for $25!!
I added a simple Green wreath to my barn door and above it is my favorite Christmas sign from Kristy @shopthepaintednest.

One of my favorite cozy chairs next to the fireplace is the best spot at night when the fire is lit!! How cozy does this little space look!? Again things are pretty neutral and simple but lots of different textures going on. I love candles this time of year!! Put them in different candle holders like my antler and my wooden lantern and it’s texture heaven! The sensational candles with the rose gold tops are my absolute favorite!!! The one burning right now is called White Pine and it’s seriously heaven!

The next spot on my home tour is my dining room!! I recently moved my farm house hutch in here and filled it with all of my Rae Dunn!!!

I wanted to keep my dining table simple instead of set out of and styled for guests! With two small kids this is has busy as this table will get! I want to be inspirational and show you the truth to my home and why I decorate the way I do! Of course a set table is gorgeous but it’s just not practical in my home!

Another little spot I wanted to share was my entry way! It’s not grand or big but it works and functional to our home!

I love the black door with the rustic green wreath! The best part is it’s real!! It smells amazing too especially when it’s the first thing you smell when you walk in the front door!!!

When I moved my hutch I was able to hang a cute little coat rack for the kids! This weekend our Christmas tree is coming home and it’s going to go right where the coat rack is hanging so that will have to be moved! I can’t wait for the tree to go up and this room will have its last final Christmas touch! A Christmas tree just makes everything!!

The last spot on my Cozy Christmas Home Tour is my kitchen! It’s small and quaint but has some cute Christmas elements I think you will like!

I kept the flow of my other room through out my home and used lots of candles and greens and reds! I just love the oversized wreath above my sink!

The red and green tea towels mixed with wreath and glowing candles give off a Christmas vibe but keeping it simple and not overly decorated!

Well that’s all from home tour and I can’t wait for you to go and check out some of the other amazing spaces on the blog hop!!! So honored to be apart of a home tour with these exceptionally talented woman! Have a wonderful day!
