Hey guys!!!! First blog post in FOREVER because so many of you want the recipe for the crock pot ribs I make. I’m going to make it short and sweet and to the point!
Start out with a package of your favorite ribs. And the first thing you’re going to need to make is your dry rub for the ribs.
Tsp red pepper
Tsp chili powder
Tsp minced onion
Rub all over ribs and place in crock pot with a large table spoon of apple cider vinegar. Layer the top of the ribs with a good layer of BBQ SAuce…. I use sweet baby rays. Add one bay leaf and half a cup of chicken broth. Close lid and cook on low for 6 hours.
Take the ribs out and place on baking sheet. The sauce for the ribs is:
1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Tbsp of franks red hot sauce
Cover the ribs on both sides with sauce and broil in the oven for about 3-4 min! Until they get crispy and blackened.
