Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by and hope you find this DIY grocery sign helpful. So im obsessed with fixer upper and the way Joanna Gaines has those cute BIG AND BOLD signs labeling each room through out her house. The way my husband worded it was “cozy”. Her signs are a bit of a budget breaker for me ranging between $75 to $185. Why not just make one myself. Heres the way I designed mine, it was super easy and really quick.
Michaels sells these wooden letters for around $1.49 each. My orginial idea was to spell out SUPER MARKET but all the letters were really picked over. Luckily I was able to snag enough to spell out GROCERIES.
I took my letters home and lightly chalk painted them.
Used my gorilla wood glue and glued them all down on an old piece of wood I found ( FREE YAY! )
