Hi friends and first off let me so how incredibly excited I am you are and I hope you are as excited as I am! So honored to be apart of the MEANINGFUL HOLIDAY HOME TOUR! I’m sure you’ve been soooooo inspired from the previous blogs you’ve visited so let’s hope I can keep that going. Don’t forget to visit the other two blogs on the hop today Francis and Andrea have gorgeous tours today as well. To check out the other tours earlier this week please scroll to the bottom of this post!

For our home we’re going to start at the beginning on our front porch! I love sparkle lights because they are so magical and I feel like they can make an space just come to life! I also love using natural greens and big over sized wreaths and garlands! Simple but straight to the point!

I did a layered look with two rugs! The bottom one is just a cheapy Ikea stripe rug I believe it was around $5 and I layered it with a Target holiday mat! I like the layered look around the holidays so you will see a lot of that around my home!

You can find some cute mats here:

I love the look of an oversized wreath like this one I got from Lowes a few years ago!! I added some twinkle lights to it and this adorable metal cut sign from VINTAGE METAL CO. She makes the cutest signs! I have a few of them around my home! They such a cute little touch to everything! The color of our door is called Night Club by Behr! I get a few people asking me so I thought I would just sneak that info in!

I have a few wreath options linked for here as well:

As we come In through the front door you will see one of my favorite parts of our home! Our barn door my husband and I built! Of course there is another lit wreath attached to our barn door! I always have a wreath on this door no matter what season! I change them out but the Christmas wreath is by far my fav! I linked a cute pre lit wreath up above!

As you enter in our home our living room is immediately to the left! We recently just purchased this oversized couch and it’s the coziest thing in the world! We bought it from A ROYAL SUITE IN SANTA CLARITA, CA if you are local! Since the couch already comes with so many pillows I added a few Christmas ones!!

You can find our rug here RACHELS RUG

Ottomans here COZY OTTOMANS

Our Christmas tree stands tall behind it and I added a 16 ft fresh garland above the window! I really feel like it brings the space to life! What do you think? Since our tree this year is faux I needed to have the smell of real Christmas in home and this was exactly what did the trick! And here is another view of our Christmas tree this year! It’s the 7.5 slim king fir tree by KING OF CHRISTMAS.

I added little Christmas touches like the little sleigh under my house plant that is out all year round! I think it’s easy to add little things like that but The little things are what makes the magic I think!

Our fire place is one of my favorite features in our home as well! This thing has had quite the make over since we purchased it! But you can find the blog post in my search bar. I purchased some new stockings from the Hearth and Hand line at target and I love the simplicity of them! Aren’t they adorable? The stocking holders were from the Target dollar section and came out to $3 a piece! Total score!

I used a faux cheap garland from target you can find one here CUTE GARLAND I spruced it up by adding some real eucalyptus and pine cones! Just those two things and some snow flake twinkle lights made this thing come to life. The matching set of wooden reindeer were from home goods and the adorable white glitter trees from World Market. WORLD MARKET TREES.

One of my other favorite things I’ve put up the last two years is this little snow house scene. I’ve collected some of these pieces from the Target section over the last two years. I weaved some twinkle lights through it and the white snow like felt blanket was only around $2 from Target also.

So that’s the view of our living/family room! We only have one so it’s extra cozy and I keep it pretty basic as far as not cluttered! This blanket from Anthropology is one of my favorite things ever! It’s the softest blanket you will EVER OWN! It’s a bit pricey but worth every single penny! I actually don’t even let my kids use it. Haha it’s all mine and some times as a mom it’s okay to have your own special things! ANTHROPOLOGY BLANKET.

Right across our living room is our small little dining room! We hardly ever eat here because of the new little kitchen nook I recently added but when extended family is over it’s perfect!

I added some extra large pine ones to the middle of the table, twinkle lights (of course) and some candles in the middle. It’s simple but I like simple on my dining table! The plates and napkins are all neutral and it’s my favorite set up I’ve never done!

The table I purchased from World Market is actually discounted but it does seat 8 with the extender pulled out!

The next room we’re going to go into is the kitchen ! This room has always been the Tricky room for me because of its size and the lay out!

I love bringing out some of my holiday dishes and my letter board like the one by the sink! I made a Christmas tree out of the letters! My mom makes the best cranberry sauce and I was trying out one of her recipes! One of these days I will have to get from her to give to you guys!

Family traditions are always my favorite thing to implement in a home! It’s so fun to keep things the same for the kids. When I was a kid we used to always a few traditions that my brother and I were always so excited for. I hope to do the same for my kids.

Some of you may remover the island we used to have in our kitchen and I sold that and replaced it with this banquette style table and seating! It works out so much better for my kids too! We eat many meals here together and I love this little space.

The table was only $100 from Target so I don’t have to worry too much about markers and food stains on it! I added this pretty candle wreath from Home Goods on it! It has an apple spiced candle going and I usually always do apple candles for my kitchen! What’s your favorite go to kitchen scent?

I love love love this Better not pout sign above my cup rack! It was made my sweet friend at HAND WRITTEN HARPER. She makes the cutest things!

If you’re still with me we have ONE MORE QUICK STOP and that’s the master bedroom! Thanks again for following along too! I love Christmas and sharing my home with you guys has been so much fun!

I love chunky throws and white comforters! Cozy is key for me and I kept this room just that! With the cute little reindeer lights above the bed frame I think it totally feels like Christmas without too much.

Our French doors to the back yard is such a favorite of mine with this room being so small! Knowing I can still escape if needed makes me feel like this room is bigger than it is! Haha not that I need to escape if you know what I mean.
