THANKSGIVING STYLED FIREPLACE

Who else loves thanksgiving as much I do? It’s the time where family comes together and rejoices in all that we have. Lucky for us this will be the second year we will have going over to my sister in laws families home. My brother in law makes a wicked good turkey and we love it. I still look to put a few things that give off that thankful fall vibe. I’m not decorating for X-mas quite yet because I’m just loving fall so much.

Another easy way to give off that fall cozy feeling is mixing different textures and using candles. I picked up this gorgeous wooden lantern on clearance from Target a few days ago and set it right on my hearth.

I added another cute Target item to my mantle and it’s the Buffalo check Gather garland. On top of the mantle is really simple items from my home which include my cement Magnolia pears, some market baby ghost pumpkins and candle stick holders.

I overlapped two garlands….the wooden leaf garland is from Michaels and the other is from Target. Layering things is another easy way to add texture to a vignette. Simple is key.

Thanks for stopping by!

Rachel, where did you get that tall, thin, wood cabinet. I think it’s on the wall that backs up to the kitschy.
